"We The Youth" by Keith Haring Restoration 2013
In 2013, I was selected by Mural Arts Program to be part of a team of artists to restore Keith Haring's, "We The Youth". The mural, originally painted in 1987, had suffered extensive damage over the years and required almost a complete repainting, as well as significant wall repair. Working with Mural Arts Program and the Keith Haring Foundation, we restored the mural to it's original glory after 2.5 months of painting. Restoring the work of such an iconic artist was truly an honor.

"We The Youth" by Keith Haring, Mural Restoration
In 2013, I was the lead assistant on the Mural Arts Program restoration of “We The Youth”, an original Keith Haring mural locating at 22nd & Ellsworth streets in Philadelphia PA. The restoration was extensive and involved that over 75% of the wall be completely repainted. Using photographs of the original mural, I worked with fellow muralist Kim Alsbrook to restore “We the Youth” over the course of 4 months. For the final month we were joined by additional assistants. This project was supported and generously funded by The Keith Haring Foundation.
